A beautiful Girl {Bowie, Annapolis, Baltimore, D.C. Child Photographer}

I’ve been extremely busy and had some unforeseen events occur in the last 5 weeks that have thrown me for a loop. This weekends snowstorm has been a wonderful blessing for me. For one thing, I love snow–it reminds me of my winters growing up and just makes me feel happy. For another thing the snow kept us cooped up inside and gave me a chance to settle in and get some sessions up for all of you to see. Much as I love the snow, I thought it would be fun to show some images from a day a couple weeks ago when the fall colors were on strong, the light was stunning, and the air was nice and brisk.
I met this little girl at a book store when I took my girls to story time. From the first time I saw her I thought she was just too adorable and I wanted to photograph her. Luckily for me, her mother allowed me to capture some wonderful images of her and to play with some new props and try out a new location as well. It was a truly fun hour we spent playing with little miss “M”.
Right from the start she started posing for us. There wasn’t any shyness in her at all which made my job photographing her easy and fun.
She ran around and played on the bridge. We chased her, played peekaboo, and broke out some props. I have several of her looking at me, but I love this one of her smiling at her mother who was to my right. The light was perfect and this is one of my favorites.

Here is one of her looking at me. Talk about a photogenic little girl.

She somehow managed to be full of attitude but still be sweet. I’m not quite sure how she pulled it off but here you can get a glimpse of some of her spunk.

This one is pure sweetness, and another favorite.

I have to say one of the things I loved most about the hour I spent with Miss “M” and her mother was how sweet they were together. Here is one of the last pictures I took that day and it is of the two of them together.

Thankyou Lindsay, for letting me photograph your sweet child and spending a morning with me. I hope the pictures have been worth the wait and I hope you have a wonderful and merry Christmas.
